Since November, 8th, 2005 for any computer having Internet connection in the Samara state university, access to a database of magazines of publishing house Elzevir ( so-called Freedom Collection) has been opened.

Access is carried out through on-line service ScienceDirect. First it is necessary to visit the site of this service which is www.sciencedirect.com. In the alphabetic list of all magazines presented on portal Science Direct - if access is allowed, on the right, near to names of magazines there will be keys in green color (Full-text available - click for details). For SSU access to full texts of articles of magazines of 2005 + 4 last years (up to 2001 inclusive) is open, and abstracts of articles are open absolutely all for any year

At portal Science Direct more than 2500 magazines are presented, from which more than 1800 are in Freedom Collection (subscription for extends only on Elzevir magazines). Therefore in the general list of magazines with white keys (non-subscribed) as in the general list of magazines proceeding editions for which we also have no subscription you can come across a white key. In all magazines with white keys sometimes only abstracts are opened for us, these are the so-called gift releases, they are marked with yellow key (complementary) and access to full texts in these magazines is opened for any user in the Internet (such magazines vary periodically).

Full collections contain four million articles prior to 1995, and 2.75 million articles since 1994.

Access to the given database of magazines is stipulated by the corresponding license agreement between SSu and Elzevir. Therefore we entreat you earnestly not to break its positions. Persons guilty of infringement of requirements of the license will be punished administratively.
